Tuesday 17 September saw the 10th Anniversary of the founding of the Forget-Me-Not Café and we are indebted to St. John's Church, who have provided their halls free of charge since our foundation. This means that our weekly gatherings of people living with dementia and their carers, family and friends are free.
We were delighted that the Fleet u3a Ukulele Band were available to entertain us with their wide range of songs mainly from the 1950s, 1960s & 1970s and known to many who attended.
We commemorated this memorable event with a glass of excellent 'bubbly' provided by Auriol Wines, to accompany the usual array of savouries and the wonderful cake decorated to reflect this auspicious occasion.
