Home
Founded in 1977, we are a group of friendly volunteers, who assist people in Hartley Wintney, Heckfield, Mattingley and Winchfield needing a helping hand.
We provide volunteer drivers to take people to medical appointment; do home visits; run the weekly Forget-Me-Not Café and Singing for the Mind sessions for those living with dementia and their family, friends and carers; shop; collect prescriptions; dog walk; and do odd jobs for people with mobility problems or no internet access, if we have a volunteer with the necessary skills.
Those of our volunteers who visit people in their own homes, transport people to their essential medical appointments or run our weekly dementia activities are DBS checked and the Group has Public Liability Insurance with a limit of £5,000,000.
We are one of more than 110 similar groups in Hampshire, who are supported by the Good Neighbours Network, which is funded by the Council for Social Responsibility and the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Intergrated Care Board.
To organise a driver for your appointment or to find out more about our other services please call our Duty Officer on 0845 5190855 and preferably between 9:00am and 5:00pm, Mondays to Fridays.
